Run Two Numbers with GB WhatsApp Pro and Official WhatsApp

Set up two WhatsApp accounts on one Android phone using GB WhatsApp Pro alongside the official app. Below we cover the why, the how and the things to watch out for.

Why dual accounts?

Many people want to keep work and personal chats apart without carrying two phones. Because GB WhatsApp Pro uses a different package name, it installs next to the official app.

Setup steps

Keep official WhatsApp on your first number.
Download and install GB WhatsApp Pro.
Open it and verify your second number.
Set a different theme or icon so you can tell the apps apart.

Things to know

Each number can only be active in one app at a time. Notifications come from two separate apps, so customize their tones. Back up each app separately.

Stay safe

Menu names can differ slightly between builds. If you cannot find an option, look in the mod settings under Privacy, Chats or Universal.
